My granddaughter and I rode into Atlanta to take pictures. One of the places we went was the Swan House on West Paces Ferry, right close to the Governor's Mansion. Across the street from this gorgeous piece of architecture was a smaller house which looked straight on the picture above. I suppose it was the caretaker's house at one time. My granddaughter said she would get tired of walking up those steps. Go figure what an 11 yr old would say. What a treat for the current homeowners to see out their living room window.
I've always thought the Swan House was so beautiful. I would sometimes go a little out of my way just to drive by there.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful architecture. They don't make them like they used to.

Wow, what a mansion. I'd certainly get lost in there. Love the architecture. Glad I don't have to heat it.
ReplyDeletelove the 2nd pic the best
ReplyDeleteThose steps would keep you fit - maybe there's a side-door without steps :) I like your first picture - it seems quite a sad house.
