I did it, fixed my dryer.

Print by J. Howard Miller--We can Do It Rosie the Riveter

I finally fixed my dryer. I am so happy. I was determined to do it. My neighbor fixed my lawnmower. I am very thankful. Total rounded amount spent was $38.00. That included a ratchet set which I did not have. So now I can get those crazy screws off when necessary.

Thankful for neighbors and helpful sales people.

  1. Congrats on the repair, I knew you could do it! Hubby is a mechanic so we have lots of tools but I still have my own set for small stuff. We do most of our own work, I just can't bring myself to pay what most repair services want these days.

  3. Yay you!!!! Don'tcha just LOVE it when you fix something without having to call a repair person or bug your male friends? Too often I get into "I can't or I don't know how" thinking, when if I just did it, everything would be fine.

Thanks for your comments on my blog last week. The beading you admired on my Flickr page is called "bead embroidery." There are many good books on the subject, including my two companion books, One Bead at a Time and Heart to Hands Bead Embroidery available through my website here.

Hope you don't mind me answering your question here... I didn't know how else to contact you.

I've been reading your past posts... I enjoy your photography very much and will return for more.

    Cheers, Robin
