Mimosa trees have such delicate leaves. Enlarge the pictures to see a little more detail. This tree came up in my backyard over 15 yrs ago. I really never thought it would last this long because the roots are in the side of the creek. A bit unstable looking but still it stands tall and firm.

ReplyDeleteMimosa's are one of my favorite trees. We had them in the yard as a kid and I always thought the flowers reminded me of fluffy pink ballarina skirts.

Mimosa's are such a beautiful tree, I haven't seen them outside of the south and I sort of miss them. Those little pink blooms are so pretty.
