White-lined Sphinx Hummingbird Moth
This was my first encountered with this moth. I had heard about them but never really saw one. I took some pretty good pictures. He was a busy little fellow. He would fly off and then come right back to the same set of flowers.
I think they are just the neatest moth, the first time I saw one I thought it was a hummer until I got a little closer. Ours usually show up very late in the summer so it shouldn't be too long now.
