Monochrome Forest

I am trying to work on some black and white pictures. Sometimes it is harder to get a nice composition of light and dark. For many more wonderful pics go to site above at Monochrome Weekly.

    Awesome, I love monochrome and these are great. A forest is difficult sometimes to get the right contrast but you got some good shots.

    Just curious, are you setting the camera on B&W or changing it after you download. I have tried both and I can't decide which I like best, any thoughts.

    Nice sequence. I like the second most with the leafy branches creating parallel strands.

    Re SQ's comment: If you set on B&W you will tend to look for the mono image directly without the distraction of colour.
