Ready to start a new work week. Hope this one goes well. Friday I had a very bad attitude. I have to straighten up and just do my job, stop worrying about what other people are up to or for that matter not up to. It is going to really take some thought to keep my mind focused. I am sure I will slip up but maybe I should put up some little sign just for me to look at during the day. Any suggestions. Really any thoughts on this. I have at least 3 more years to work there, maybe even 5. I am sure I can do it if I put my heart and soul in it and have good weekends.
Everyone have a great week.

Sounds like your work situation is similar to mine. Three to five years ( if I can last that long )... maybe it will go quickly.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to tune the others out
and plod along.
The serenity prayer works for me. "Change the things that can be changed, accept those that cannot, and have the wisdom to know the difference."
ReplyDeleteDaisy has the right idea.
Hang in there.
Start the day looking for one good thing - maybe it will change your focus since you obviously can't change the work environment. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteFocus is the most important thing you can do. Try placing some little object on your desk or workspace. Something small that you can look at to remind you of what you need to do.
ReplyDeleteHang in there,

Just hang in there. Remember the economy stinks right now and if you have a job, don't make any rash decisions.
ReplyDeleteI once posted a hand written note on the bottom of my screen that said "remember". It was to remind me of all the things that I needed to do and that I didnt need to do.
