Yesterday here in Georgia it was a gorgeous day. I went outside and did a little cleaning up around the flower beds. It was so wonderful to clear out some leaves and think about redoing some beds. I am the kind of person who really likes to plant bushes and flowers that stay green all year and come back year after year. There is nothing more gratifying than planting something and it takes care of itself. I have always loved camellias because they stay green and bloom when the weather is cold. I think I have a perfect place for one.
Already dreaming of spring, I see! I mostly plant perennials, too - I like that they are self-starters year after year.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. I like those that keep on coming back without help. Some of mine are coming back with a vengeance with all the rain and heat we are having.
ReplyDeleteI luv camelias too and how easy going they are in my area.
ReplyDeleteNow that the snow has melted I can see leaves and debris that so needs to be racked up. It will be a few more weeks here before it's warm enough for that.
ReplyDeleteLove your header!
Thanks for your visit!
I'm awfully late visiting...hope you get this comment. Anyway, that is a beautiful camellia! They absolutely won't grow here in Minnesota, unfortunately.
