I have neglected this blog. Facebook is great but really can you be yourself, I say nope. You have friends, family, coworkers, etc. on FB and you really cannot afford to be too revealing. But blogging is different. No one knows my blog and hopefully they will not even know how to find it unless I croak and they get into my computer and figure it out. Oh well, I would not be that mean to write really bad things just my feelings here and there.
Today is a wonderful Saturday -- a little rainy, Christmas music, good coffee, wonderful ideas from many bloggers, making a list and eating my new found friend flavored oatmeal.
Have a wonderful day.
Grand girls doing what they do best.
I hope you have a wonderful day, too. That's the cutest picture!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about Facebook but I've got family reading my blog, too, so can't always say what's on my mind. They never leave comments, of course, but they tell me now much they enjoy reading it. Maybe I should start another one...just for my blogging buddies!
Welcome back to blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the Grandgirls.
Enjoy the holidays!
I sympathize. I had one FB friend "unfriend" me because I was too outspoken on a certain topic. Well, such is life. I survived!
ReplyDeleteI think FB gives a series of "sound bites" but a blog gives more of a "story" experience. Sometimes. anyway!
I know what you mean about Facebook!! I spend waaaaaaay too much time on there and if you say anything bad about your job, folks lurking get all mad and want to fire you. It's ridiculous. You can't be yourself, express yourself, online. They read my blog, too, so I'm doomed. Ha! Good to see you back!!
ReplyDeleteI can say that I really don't get FB. I don't like it. I much more prefer blogging.
