Thankfulness

So thankful for freedom. There are many different kinds of freedom that we experience every day. I pray that we never have that taken away from us.

Everyone have a beautiful Thanksgiving Day.

Memory lane is fun.

Getting really excited to see my old friend Becky. It has been a long time, probably 25 yrs or more. We are meeting Friday the 5th in Las Vegas. Went through pics last Sat and had a great time with myself--laughing and remembering high school. Unfortunately I had no pics of Becky back in the day. Found all sorts of memorabilia from high school. I even have my panty hose from graduation, go figure. I think that was an accident that I kept them.  I listed all the gifts I received from graduation. A little money, slips, panties, luggage, shorts outfit, really odd things compared to today's standards except for the money. I am so glad I hung on to those things including the panty hose.

A little older today, well a total of 58 yrs.

Mom put this pic on Facebook, I really love this happy baby.

Had a great day, my 58th birthday today. Have been MIA on my blog page. Need to do some catching up.

Health is good. Diabetes getting under control. Children, grandchildren and Mom doing well. Job is good. Went to a 4 day 10 hr work week. Off on Monday, making it a 3 day weekend, who could ask for more. Planning a trip in a week and a half to Las Vegas to meet up with a girlfriend from high school who I have not seen in a long long time.  She lives in Seattle so we are meeting in LV for a long weekend. Then I must go on to San Francisco for the rest of the week because I can and you know I love to make every minute count.  Hope the weather is good. Looking forward to the trip.

Helped my Mom put a new waterbed mattress together yesterday. She has slept on a waterbed for probably 35 yrs or so. I had one for a long time as well. A lot of memories came back as we were draining and filling her mattress. Thankfully we did not have to mess with the frame. That was always a pain.
